2020 Year End Letter & Save the Date: January 2021 March For Abolition

End-of-year greetings, dear friends!

Get ready for a rocky ride as you begin your journey through this letter! You shall travel along a few bleak paths but rest assured! Just like the children’s game, Candyland, you will find treasure at the end! Walk with me now, won’t you?

Have you felt the darkness and uncertainty in recent weeks? Some days it feels palpable, as if it may reach right out and grab you. Perhaps you or others whom you love have fallen into despair or despondency for any number of reasons associated with this tumultuous time. Oh the injustice! Oh the oppression, we cry! Help! Help us! In our minds we hear a desperate cry for help, over and over, calling from the depths of our souls. Perhaps we truly are in peril! We are being crushed, CRUSHED! Forced helplessly to our knees!

Dear friends, let us stay on our knees and petition our holy God who is still on the throne! Read the beautiful 121st Psalm for great comfort and courage. Verses 1 and 2 tell us: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

We must then, with faith and confidence, rise to our feet as our marching orders have not been rescinded! Shall we not be emboldened by the Light which shines ever brighter in the darkest of darkness?

Have you been hearing all the talk about unity? Shall we be in accord with a false unity, one that is evil disguised as good and which aligns God‘s holy people with wrongdoing? I think of two simple verses which my children learned at a very young age:
Exodus 23:2 says, Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong, and Amos 3:3 asks, Do two walk together unless they have agreed to meet?

Colorado Right To Life will remain unwavering in our purpose and mission in 2021. Every human being has a God-given right to life from the beginning of that person’s biological development through natural death, regardless of their perceived value to society. There are no exceptions! We will not regulate murder! We will teach others the same!

I come to you now and ask you to partner with us; be in unity with us as we seek wisdom in honoring God and affirming the God-given right to life for all. Your generous donation can make a difference! We are not able to complete this work without your financial sacrifice. 

Because of your sacrificial giving, CRTL has been able to display a beautiful billboard two blocks from Planned Parenthood for 10 months out of the year. You may still see it at Smith Road and Quebec Street in Denver, two blocks from Planned Parenthood, until the end of December. Additionally, we have been able to create and print materials in order to educate both Christians and non-Christians regarding the life issue.
