2024 End of year letter
It has been an eventful year with more stories and experiences than I can possibly recount.
However, one story stands out.
Meet Jaden (name changed to protect her identity). Earlier this year, at an event in downtown Denver, I encountered Jaden, a young
woman whose life was forever changed. Let’s rewind. As usual, I filming pro-abortion protesters.
When I approached a group of people, I noticed Jaden angrily shouting at a group of pro-lifers.
Spotting my camera, she stormed over, shoved me and the camera, and began scattering the
contents of nearby tables, pamphlets, candy, and more, all while yelling, “MADE IN HEAVEN?
MADE IN HEAVEN?” The police quickly intervened.
At that moment, we faced a decision: Should we press charges for battery and destruction of
property?
We gave our statements to the police, but what followed was unexpected. Through her tears,
Jaden began to speak:
Jaden: “I am so sorry, I really am. Can I tell you a little about my story? I grew up Christian and
went to church every Sunday and Wednesday. I have a huge family—my grandmother had six
children. I was taught the same things you were taught. I don’t hate you, I really don’t hate you
as a person. When I was 14, I was hurt very badly…something you never forget…everything
inside me just hurt so much. I do believe… My name is Jaden; it means ‘faith in God.’ I didn’t
mean to hurt you. I want to take it all back. I… I’d like to pray with you guys. I’m so sorry.”
Our group laid hands on her and prayed for her. She ended up praying her own prayer as well:
Jaden: “Thank you, Father God, for this realization that I need You back in my life. I’ve been hurt
so badly. I know if I find my way back to You, I won’t be hurt again.”
I connected Jaden with a strong, Godly mentor who kept me updated over the following weeks.
She began attending a local church regularly and, within days, signed and circulated a pro-life
petition to counter Amendment 79—The Right to Abortion.
This changed heart and mind is made possible, in large part by your support.
Unfortunately, as you’ve likely seen in the news, Amendment 79 has been enshrined in the
Colorado State Constitution. The abortion industry has heinously fabricated the absolute “right”
to an abortion, and they want YOU to pay for it. The repeal of the prohibition on taxpayer
funding means our tax dollars will now fund abortions instead of essential services like public
safety or infrastructure.
With Amendment 79 in place, Colorado faces a new “Wild West” of abortion legislation. In 2025,
we anticipate laws attempting to:
- Prohibit sidewalk counseling.
- Launch further legislative attacks on crisis pregnancy resource centers.
- Provide free abortion for every woman, including women traveling on “abortion vacations”, funded by your tax dollars.
We will have a strong presence at the Capitol in 2025 to oppose these evil attacks on the most
innocent among us—the unborn.
The abortion industry also has a stranglehold on influencing our nation’s youth, targeting
children as young as 2-4 years old to normalize and desensitize them to heinous acts. In
response, we are reigniting Project Frontlines, bringing a message of life to high schools and
colleges across Colorado. Our goal is to engage and educate the youth before the abortion
industry can.
This critical work requires your support. Your contributions empower us to:
- Maintain a presence at the Capitol to fight against harmful legislation.
- Expand Project Frontlines to change the hearts and minds of young people.
Will you stand with us in this fight for life? Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Please consider making a donation today to help us protect the unborn and defend life at all
stages. CRTL cannot function without your prayers and support.
Together, we can make an impact that changes hearts and save countless unborn human lives.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
